English and maths tutoring for children aged 5 upwards

Since opening in April 2005 as a Kip McGrath Education Centre franchise, our centre has helped hundreds of children with their reading, spelling, writing, English and maths. They have enjoyed learning, using written and computer programs and have benefited from our tutoring by demonstrating increased confidence as well as improved academic skills.

We offer the best in private tuition in literacy and numeracy for children aged 6 to 16 – for those who need extra help at school as well as those who are already excelling. Jan McCartney, the centre owner, has 30 years teaching experience in Lancaster, Morecambe and Preston.

We treat children as individuals by assessing and talking to children and parents, then providing a tailored individual learning plan to assist them to achieve their personal goals.

On 24th August 2011 we ceased operating as a KMEC franchise, to become Lancaster Tutoring Centre.
